Terms of Service
1. What Fan Fund is
Fan Fund is a technology platform that lets supporters contribute to school-specific pools for high school athletes during their recruiting cycle. If the athlete commits to a matched school, contributions are transferred to the athlete's connected Stripe account. If the athlete commits elsewhere, contributions are refunded to the original payment methods. Fan Fund does not custody funds directly; payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian consent during registration and the guardian is jointly responsible for the account. Fan Fund may require additional verification before processing contributions or payouts.
3. No guarantee of NIL compliance
Automated eligibility flags shown in the product are informational only and are not a guarantee of compliance with NCAA, state high-school-association, or institutional rules. You are responsible for verifying that your participation complies with the rules that apply to you.
4. Payments & refunds
Payment and refund terms are described in the Refund Policy. Because settlement depends on a verified athlete commitment, there may be a delay between your contribution and the final settlement event.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use Fan Fund for fraud, money laundering, harassment, solicitation of athletes in exchange for performance, or any unlawful purpose. Chargeback abuse or coordinated pledge-and-refund patterns may result in account termination.
6. No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fan Fund disclaims all implied warranties. Liability is limited to the fees Fan Fund collected from you in the preceding twelve months, if any.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or by banner on the platform. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
